From Estes Park, a distance of 61 miles - 98 km route we traveled throughout the park that was accessible by car, starting at an altitude of 7522 feet, 2292 meters, I passed at an altitude of 11,796 feet, 3595 meters and we descended to 7935 feet up in Granby - 2428 meters.

Myriad

The impressive amount of about 60 peaks over 12,000 feet - 3650 meters, this mountain park is a fairy that I had the chance to enjoy the end of autumn.

Cofaru in nature!

For me it was an unforgettable photographic experience where I had the opportunity to lose a full minute to create a few blocks and had the opportunity to experience its collection of photo filters.

Volvica the increase!

For several hours Volvica spoiled us on top of mountains where the peaks even I got a snow which made the temperature drop and shrivel like us a few photos. :-)

A little rest

During our entire trip through the park I have lived with pleasure sensations that I have brought to mind the many expeditions that we made in Retezat Mountains when I was a teenager and student, and not least to me back in mind heavy or very heavy moments, very beautiful in fact that I lived in shipments that we do during the time I was in Mountain unit of the North East and we beat a great distance foot side to the other mountains in the area: Retezat Godeanu, Sureanu Parang and Step Valcan. On this occasion I would like to greet some friends with whom I shared the tent and canned :-) :

Cofaru pe creasta !

Cofaru the crest!

Vali Banoiu - a lover of mountains and nature

Mateo - I was tied with rope climbing as many times :-) and that was one that was almost always alone backpack bigger and heavier than mine :-)

Adi Cimpeanu - which I started in the climbing and the speleology, why not admit often much Spartan spirit and nerve :-) and whose agreements guitar and listen to them now with pleasure

Adi Roventa - who supported Naturalism often to excess

Lt. Sorin Ionescu - "Ring" as i thought we we learn how to make out the mountain in general and which very often would have to thank that we manage to go to end the endless marches of several days even if It was very hard to finish with a smile

Sandu Gaianu Lt, Lt Costica Roanghesi, Capt. Cretu, Cpt Murgiuc, Curelea Major, Major Major Adam Uta and I were teachers in mountain research. (It was the military rank you held at that time, 1995, now many of them in reserve or much higher degrees)

At the turn!

Hoping that I will not bore you with nostalgia for old times when he was wandering the mountains, I will expose here a poem I discovered at that time:

"Learn from the water to have stable way,
Learn from it all, and only burning ashes,
Learn to shut the shade and watch,
Learn to rock as adamant to do.
Learn how the sun has apui,
Learn from the stone as to say,
Learn from the wind that blows on paths
How should the world, to go quietly.
Learn all because all are sisters,
How nice pass through life, how nice to die
Learn from the worm, that nobody looked ...
Learn from lily to be always clean.
Learn from the eagle, when your shoulders and heavy
And go to the ant to see its burden
Learn from cricket to play when you're alone,
Learn from month to not be afraid.
Learn from the birds to be more in flight,
Learn all that it's all temporary,
Take heed, son of world-n-sacrifice through which pass,
To learn from everything dies, how to live forever! "
