Rainbow Bridge - the largest natural stone arch in the world was for us and is generally one of the most beautiful natural wonders of America and the planet at the same time a sacred and holy to the Navajo Indian population.
275 feet wide-84 feet, 290 feet high-88metri, the upper surface 42 vertical feet wide, 13 meters wide and 33 feet horizontally-10 meters. The stone arch was named Rainbow Rainbow from Navajo Indians for that rainbow symbolizes a guardian of the universe.

This natural monument is located in northern Arizona, near the border with Utah's Lake Powell and is visited by about 300,000 tourists a year. Access is via the organized tours by boat 50 miles-93 km from Wahweap Marina Lake Powell and then a small hike of 1 / 2 miles, 1 km. The whole tour takes about the Rainbow Bridge boat went 3:00, half an hour or 2 hours hiking and visiting the monument itself and another 3 hours return until Wahweap Marina boat.

In this photo you can see how tall are rock walls of the lake in the background compared to the boat.
Over and this little tale is not before you suggest with all sincerity to visit this beautiful edifice of nature, by your visit to contribute to its preservation.
